Basedonimmunoelectrophoresisand/orELISA,theantibodyreactswiththeF(ab)₂/FabportionofhumanIgG.Italsoreactswiththelightchainsofotherhumanimmunoglobulins.NoantibodywasdetectedagainsttheFcportionofhumanIgGoragainstnon-immunoglobulinserumproteins.TheantibodyhasbeentestedbyELISAand/orsolid-phaseadsorbedtoensureminimalcross-reactionwithbovine,horseandmouseserumproteins,butitmaycross-reactwithimmunoglobulinsfromotherspecies.
