Accutase®isourrecommendedenzymeforcelldetachmentandpassagingduetoitsgentleaction,andthefactthatnoseparatereagentisrequiredtostopthereaction(simplydilute,thencentrifuge).

Itcanbeusedasadirectreplacementfortrypsinsolution,anagressiveenzymethatisdemandingtouseduetotheverysmallwindowbetweeneffectivedetachmentandoverdigestion.

Accutaseisusedbothduringisolation,andalsofortheroutinedetachmentofcellsfromstandardtissuecultureplasticwareandadhesioncoatedplasticware,andhasbeenproveneffectiveindetaching:fibroblasts,epithelialcellsandawholerangeofothercelltypes.
