WesternblotanalysisofGluR1transfectedcellsandratbrainhomogenatestheantibodyspecificallylabelsasinglebandatapproximately102kD.WesternblotanalysisofGluR2,3,4,4C,5,6,and7transfectedcellsrevealednoimmunolabeling.Immunolabelingoftheabovenon-NMDAtransfectedcellsdemonstratesspecificityforGluR1.Additionally,immunolabelingforGluR1iscompletelyabolishedbypre-adsorptionwithsyntheticratGluR1(894-907)at5µgpermLofdilutedantibody.
