Proteinquantitationwascarriedoutbytwoindependentmethods:
1.UVspectroscopyat280nmusingtheabsorbencyvalueof0.924astheextinctioncoefficientfora0.1%(1mg/ml)solution.ThisvalueiscalculatedbythePCGENEcomputeranalysisprogramofproteinsequences(IntelliGenetics). 
2.AnalysisbyRP-HPLC,usingacalibratedsolutionofIFN-a2aasaReferenceStandard.
