PurityEachlotofBetaGalactosidaseistestedforcontaminatingproteaseasfollows;10μgofdenaturedBSAisincubatedfor24hourswith2μLofenzyme.SDS-PAGEanalysisofthetreatedBSAshowsnoevidenceofdegradation.

Theproductionhoststrainhasbeenextensivelytestedanddoesnotproduceanydetectableglycosidases.

StABIlityStableatleast12monthswhenstoredproperly.Severaldaysexposuretoambienttemperatureswillnotreduceactivity.
