SomecontroversyarosehowevermanyyearsafterthereleaseofPuppetMaster.Inaninterviewonthewebsite,TheTerrorTrap,PuppetMasterdirector,DavidSchmoeller,saysthatCharlesBandoweshimresiduals,aswellasstatingthatCharlesBanddoesnotgivecredittodirectors.Schmoellercontinues,sayingthatBanddidnotwanthimonthedirector"scommentaryontheDVDreleaseofPuppetMasterbecause"itwouldrevealthatsomeoneelsesharedinthecreationofFullMoon"sbiggestandmostsuccessfulfranchise."
