MHC I Dextramer Collections
MHC I Dextramers combine a dextran polymer backbone with a high number of MHC and fluorochrome molecules providing mulitple binding domains for antigen-specific T cell receptor binding. This enhances their staining intensity and increases resolution as well as signal-to-noise ratio with minimal background staining. In addition, the dextran backbone stabilizes the MHC-peptide complexes and fluorochromes. The EBV set is useful for enumeration of EBV-specific CD8+ T cells, e.g. for immune monitoring in immune-compromised individuals following transplantation, testing of virus-specific vaccines or profiling of virus-specific T cell responses. The Dextramers are provided as APC conjugates.
The following 5 Dextramers are provided with APC label
Dextramer: HLA-A*0201 / GLCTLVAML - Antigen: BMLF-1
Dextramer: HLA-B*3501 / HPVGEADYFEY - Antigen: EBNA-1
Dextramer: HLA-B*0702 / RPPIFIRRL - Antigen: EBNA-3A
Dextramer: HLA-B*0801 / FLRGRAYGL - Antigen: EBNA-3A
Dextramer: General / Negative Control
Benefits of MHC I Dextramers®
- More MHC molecules and more fluorochromes than conventional MHC multimers
- Higher sensitivity (important for low-affinity epitopes as commonly found in cancer & autoimmune disease)
- High stability
- Custom-made Dextramers available upon request
