Phosphatidylserine(PS)istranslocatedfromtheinnertotheoutersurfaceofapoptoticcellsforphagocyticcellrecognition.Thehumananticoagulant,AnnexinV,isa35kDaCa2-dependentphospholipidproteinwithahighaffinityforPS.AnnexinVlabeledwithCF™488A(Abs/Em=490/515nm)canidentifyapoptoticcellsingreenbybindingtoPSexposedontheouterleaflet.OurCF™488Adyeissuperiortofluorescein/FITCasitisnotaffectedbypHandhasmuchbetterphotostABIlity.
