实验原理：哺乳动物细胞的细胞膜是磷脂双分子层结构。正常哺乳动物的细胞膜是卵磷脂和鞘磷脂朝向细胞的外侧，而磷脂酰乙醇胺和磷脂酰丝氨酸是朝向细胞的内侧，此时APOP染料不能进入细胞内。而当细胞发生凋亡时，磷脂酰丝氨酸就会翻转到细胞膜外侧，APOP染料会随着磷脂酰丝氨酸的翻转进入到细胞内，从而给凋亡细胞染色。

应用范围：适用于存在典型磷脂双分子层细胞膜的哺乳动物细胞，不适用于神经细胞，也不建议应用于非哺乳动物细胞。 检测仪器：倒置显微镜、酶标仪 试剂盒说明：该试剂盒中包含 APOPercentage 染料，能够特异性的与凋亡细胞结合，而不与坏死细胞结合，避免假阳性。通过倒置显微镜，可以观测并拍照被染色的凋亡细胞。同时，该试剂盒中还含有APOPercentage染料释放剂，能够使进入凋亡细胞中染料释放出来，从而用比色的方法进行定量。
