ImmTech was founded in 1994 to provide innovative and integrated immunoassay design and manufacturing expertise to the immunodiagnostic and biotechnology industries; expertise which includes the capability to develop products or technologies from inception or take a nascent technology and convert it into a product that can be efficiently manufactured and marketed. Since its inception, ImmTech has successfully met the needs of its clients through the development of a wide variety of enhanced immunological detection technologies with photometric, chemiluminescent, bioluminescent, and immunohistochemical applications. Many of these technologies have been commercialized by the original contractors, patents have issued on two of the technologies, and a third patent application is pending. Most recently, ImmTech has partnered with FASgen Diagnostics, LLC for the distribution of a monoclonal antibody reagent and an ELISA kit that can be used to detect and measure Fatty Acid Synthase in tissue and serum, respectively.

In addition to successful, client-based product development, ImmTech develops and markets life science products to global academic and industrial customers. These products include kits and reagents that incorporate ImmunoMagnetic Separation (IMS) technology, improved detection methodologies, and unique, application-specific reagents that enhance test performance.
