Product information "Agarose Low Melting"
Suitable for protein and large DNA separations >1000bp. The low melting temperature allows for the recovery, without damage, of nucleic acids below their denaturing temperatures. The low melting point also ensures that the agarose will be in a liquid state where in-gel manipulations can be performed without prior purification of the DNA from the gel slice. , Tested for a wide array of molecular biology procedures ensuring high recovery of biologically active DNA, high cloning efficiency and consistent reproducibility. Applications:  Analytical DNA Gels >1,000bp,  Blotting Assays (Southern, northern),  Restriction Enzyme Digestion,  Ligation DNA Labeling Nick Translation,  Random Priming PCR Tissue Culture,  Viral Plaque,  For use with all buffer systems, Recommended Usage (TBE): Concentration Molecular Weight, 1% 250-10,000bp, 1.5% 150-2500bp, EEO: <0.12,>pH (1.5%, Gel): As Reported, Melting Point (1.5%): <66°c,>Gel Point (1.5%): 24-28°C, Gel Strength (1.5%): >500g/cm2, Sulfate: <0.1%,>Ash: <0.4%,>Clarity (1.5%): <40ntu,>RNase: None Detected, DNase: None Detected, DNA Fragment Analysis: To Pass Test, Background Fluorescence: To Pass Test, Storage and Stability: Store at RT. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a low humidity environment. For greater separation capacity, keep the gel at 4°C for 1 hour before use.
