MSD Biomarker Assays Selected for Resveratrol Study in Alzheimer’s Disease

阿尔茨海默氏症(ADCS)合作研究机构在一项临床研究中测试白藜芦醇化合物(存在于红酒和红葡萄)是否有利于患有轻度至中度痴呆阿尔茨海默氏症。白藜芦醇有多个利于衰老相关的疾病的优点,但它在阿尔茨海默病中的作用需要进一步调查。
ADCS生物标志物核心实验室主任,罗伯特Rissman博士说, “我们已经验证MSD分析技术,并用于白藜芦醇试验中的主要endpoint分析及探索生物标志物”。在脑脊髓液(CSF)中的生物标志物,如淀粉样多肽和Tau,对于评价阿尔茨海默病的发生和发展,以及决定是否治疗是非常有效的。
