Acetoacetyl-CoA synthetase activates acetoacetate to acetoacetyl-CoA. May be involved in utilizing ketone body for the fatty acid-synthesis during adipose tissue development (By similarity).
Titration of the AACS antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
This AACS antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 539-573 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human AACS.
Aliquot the AACS antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder.Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
