ApplicationNotes:ThisantibodybindsDR5,triggeringDR5clusteringandDISCactivationinarangeofcancercells,includingcolorectalcancerandNSCLCcells(Adams,2009).Conversely,thisantibodyshowednoeffectorcaspaseactivationorcelldeathinductioninnormalhumanhepatocytes.Invivo,thisantibodyhasbeenshowntoinhibittumorxenograftgrowthinavarietyofanimalmodels(Varfolomeev,2009).ThisantibodywasusedinIP,immunoblot,ELISAandIFanalysistopreciselycharacteriseitsinteractionwiththeDR5ligand(Adams,2009).
