TheseprimaryRPCTsarecollectedfromunfractionatedkidneycellpreparationsfromnormal,non-diseasedhumankidneytissues.ThecellscanbeculturedandexpandedinZenBio"suniquerenalepithelialcellculturemediaformulationsdeliveringarobustrenalcellcultureforuseinexperimentsandscreeningassays.
ZenBioprovidesRPCTscryopreservedat500,000cells/vialalongwith50mlofRPCTplatingmedia(cat#RPCT-1)foreachvialtoestablishinitialculture.PurityofeachlotisverifiedusingmorphologyandCD13flowcytometry–ZenBioRPCTsarequalifiedat>80%CD13+uponQCrelease.
EachlotofprimaryrenalcellsaretestedandverifiednegativeforHIV-1,HIV-2,HTLVI&II,HepB&C,SyphillisandCMV.
