AllCryzoTraq™tubeshavea2Ddatamatrixbarcodeinsertedinthebaseofthetube.Theinsertissecuredinplacebytheuseofultrasoundtowelditintoplace.Duringthemanufacturingprocess,thelinearbarcodeisprintedontothesideofthetubefirst,andthe2Dcodeisautomaticallygeneratedfromthelinearbarcodethereforeensuringthetwobarcodeswillalwaysbethesamewithnoerrors.
The2DbarcodedCryzoTraq™cryogenicvialscanbede-codedusingZiath’sDataPaq™MultirackorCubescanner.
OurvialsaremanufacturedinaccordancewithISO13485:2003,incompliancewithISO14644and14698(FederalStandard209)andinaClass7cleanroom(Class10,000).ThevialsarecertifiedfreefromDNA,DNase,RNase,pyrogensandATP.EachlotissterilisedwithbetarADIation.Ourtubesaremanufacturedfrommedicalgradepolypropyleneandthecapsfrommedicalgradepolyethylene.
InadditiontotheDatamatroxcodeonthebasethecodeisreproducedwithaCode128linearbarcodeandhumanreadabletextontheside.
Availablewithexternalandinternalthreadedcaps;thecapssealwithasubstantial compressionsealcapableofstorageallthewaydowntominus196degrees.
TheCryzoTraq™rangeincludespolycarbonateboxesforstorageoftheCryzoTraq™tubes.Theyareavailablein81or100placeboxes.Thesedurablecryogenicstorageboxesaredesignedtobeusedattemperaturesbetween-196°Cand+121°C(i.e.suitableforautoclaving).Atransparentcoverwithnumberingallowstheusertoseethecontentsofthebox,andiskeyedtothebasetopreventmisalignment.The81placehasacolouredgrid,whilstthe100placeboxhasapeggedbasetomaximisespace.Fourcoloursareavailable:blue,red,greenandyellow.
Thebaseofeachcryogenicboxhasa2Dbarcodelaseretchedontothebase.Thisisusedwhenscanningthetubes,astheZiathDataPaq™2Dbarcodescanningsoftwareusesthisextra2Dbarcodetodeterminetheorientationoftherackonthescannerbed.Inadditionthesideoftheboxislaseredwithacode128barcods.
