When used with our Klentaq Reaction buffer, OmniTaq 2 remains functional in 40% whole blood (though we suggest 25-30%), especially in the presence of our PCR Enhancers. It also works in some concentrations of crude soil extract or inhibitory food matrices where other commercial enzymes fail.
The Long-Accurate feature allows for amplification of longer products with higher fidelity and accuracy. LA enzymes are not recommended for use with dUTP.
