Usbio/361899 Mouse Anti-Aeromonas Salmonicida/361899/100ug

A. salmonicida is a Gram-negative, non-motile, rod-shaped and facultative anaerobic bacterium, that is the causative agent of furunculosis in both salmonids and non-salmonids species. This systemic fish disease is characterized by high mortality and morbidity and is a significant cause of economic losses in the aquaculture of trout and salmon. Atypical strains produce ulcer disease and erythrodermatitis that can lead to high mortality.

Applications: |Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence: 1:1000 ELISA: 1:4000Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Two Chilean isolates of atypical Aeromonas salmonicida (whole bacterial cells).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS. No preservative added.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes Aeromonas salmonicida.
