RecombinantEotaxin-1isadisulfide-linkedhomodimericproteinconsistingof75aminoacidresidues,andmigratesasanapproximately9kDaproteinundernon-reducingandreducingconditionsinSDS-PAGE.OptimizedDNAsequenceencodinghumanEotaxin-1maturechainwasexpressedinE.coli.
