DESCRIPTION:Human recombinant PB1-4 bromodomain (fourth bromodomain of polybromo-1). PB1, a chromatin-targeting component of the PBAF (SWI/SNF-B) chromatin-remodeling complex, comprises six tandem bromodomains. Mutations in PB1, including in PB1-4, occur frequently in renal cancers. PB1-4 shows binding affinity for two singly acetylated histone H3 peptides (H3K37Ac and H3K122Ac).

STORAGE: -70°C. Thaw quickly and store on ice before use. The remaining, unused, undiluted protein should be snap frozen, for example in a dry/ice ethanol bath or liquid nitrogen. Minimize freeze/thaws if possible, but very low volume aliquots (<5 µl) or storage of diluted protein is not recommended.
