Erysolin is an isothiocyanate (ITC) and analog of sulforaphane found in cruciferous vegetables. Erysolin exhibits antioxidative and anticancer activities. Erysolin induces phase II enzymes and inhibits growth of colon cancer cells. Like other ITCs, erysolin may also display chemopreventive benefit.
