TecaniscollaboratingwithArizonaStateUniversity(ASU)todeveloptheIntegratedBiodosimetrySystem,aprototyperoboticsystemforrapid,highthroughputscreeningtomeasureanindividual’slevelofexposuretorADIationintheeventofaradiologicalornuclearincident.

Notonlyitwillbeasystemfortheeffectiveresponsetoanuclearorradiologicaleventthatcouldaffectalargepopulation,butthehighthroughoutplatformcanalsobeusedtoadvancegenomicstestingandotherroutinelaboratoryproceduresthatmeasuregeneexpressionlevels.

TheresearchteamwillworkwithTecanonbuildingthiscomprehensivehighthroughputsystem,allowingscientiststoanalyzebloodsamplesfromupto2,000peopleperday,perinstrument.
