iSTEM배지는 마우스 ES 세포의유도, 유지 및 증식을 위한 완벽하게 조성이 밝혀져 있는 배지이다(조성은비공개). 이 배지는 선택적인 저분자(small molecule)를가지고 분화 유도 과정을 억제함으로써 마우스 ES 세포가 basalstate에 있을 수 있도록 잡아주는 역할을 한다. 이 배지는 3종류의 억제제(inhibitor)를 포함하고 있으며, 이를 통해 추가적인 자극성 사이토카인 필요없이 분화유도 신호를 억제하고, 세포의생존을 유지하며, 다능성을 유지할 수 있도록 한다. iSTEMmedia는 정상적인 조건에서는 ES 세포를 유도하기 어려운 마우스 종에서 ES 세포를 얻을 때 사용할 수 있다. 또한 C57BL / 6N 마우스의 Germ-line transmission 효율이높은 사례로 보고되었다.

-20 ℃ (융해 후 4 ℃에서 저장하고, 2 주 이내에 사용)
1. Supplement 100 μl를 실온에서 해동 (5 분 이내) 빠르게 스핀 다운한다.2. Supplement 전량을 미리 보온한 배지에 첨가하여 완전히균일하게 될 때까지 혼합한다. 필터 멸균은 피한다.
