BLEACH RITE® TEST STRIPS
THINK OF IT AS A PREGNANCY TEST FOR BLEACH

You count on bleach solutions to disinfect – whether mixing in-house, using pre-diluted sprays or towelettes. But WHAT IF the solution is below the 1:10 CDC* recommended strength? Since bleach decomposes quickly, this can easily happen if:
  • Concentrated gallon of bleach that you start with is old / ineffective
  • Busy staff forgets to mix bleach and thus the solution on-hand is ineffective
  • Pre-diluted bleach sprays or towelettes are past expiration or deteriorated because proper storage directions were not followed (e.g placed in sunlight or heat)

BLEACH-RITE® TEST STRIPS HELP INDICATE EFFICACY:

  • Using the dipstick, the color comparison warns if bleach solution is below the .525% (1:10 dilution) threshold for disinfection
  • Takes only 60 seconds to see if bleach solution is efficacious.Don’t waste time and $$$ re-mixing if solution is already strong enough
  • Don’t throw out bleach solution if it is strong enough.Help the environment and Go Green!
