Reduce aerosol and splash when removing rubber stoppers from blood and specimen tubes as suggested in NCCLS Guidelines*:

SAF DE-CAP®
  • Provide good tactual feel, are made of flexible and soft plastic
  • Improve personal safety for technicians - contamination contained in cap, not on gloves
  • Help control costs – glove changes are reduced
  • Are translucent, so blood / fluids splash can be seen
  • Are useful when high pressure builds inside tube (due to elevation, air-mail of specimens, etc.)
  • Are easy to use – place Saf De-Cap® over the tube cap, grip stopper and pull
