ThePDE1AAssayKitisdesignedforidentificationofPDE1Ainhibitorsusingfluorescencepolarization.TheassayisbasedonthebindingofafluorescentnucleotidemonophosphategeneratedbyPDE1A1tothebindingagent.ThekeytothePDE1AAssayKitisthespecificbindingagent.Usingthiskit,onlytwosimplestepsonamicrotiterplatearerequiredforPDE1Areactions.First,thefluorescentlylabeledcAMPisincubatedwithasamplecontainingPDE1A1for1hour.Second,abindingagentisaddedtothereactionmixtoproduceachangeinfluorescentpolarizationthatcanthenbemeasuredusingafluorescencereader.
