SolubleinDMSOat160mg/ml;verypoorlysolubleinwater;maximumsolubilityinwaterisestimatedtobeabout25-50µM.Buffers,serum,orotheradditivesmayincreaseordecreasetheaqueoussolubility.Forskolinisalsosolubleinethanol(50mg/ml),butthissolventisnotrecommended,asitinhibitsforskolinactivationofadenylatecyclase.
