Cerebral cortical neurons are implicated in numerous neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, autism, epilepsy and frontotemporal dementia. Despite strong interest in these diseases, high quality human in vitro cell models for cortical neurophysiology have been unavailable until now. With our plated human iPSC-derived cerebral cortical neurons, we provide neuroscience researchers with assay-ready, pre-plated iPSC-derived neurons that have been highly characterised. Our in-house experts perform the plating and neuronal differentiation in order to save you time and increase the efficiency of your experiments.
This product is a 96-well plate containing pre-plated and pre-differentiated iPSC-derived cerebral cortical neurons. Neural Stem Cells are seeded at the recommended plating density (70,000-200,000 cells/cm2) on a 96-well plate coated with SureBond-XF and are synchronously differentiated to neurons for two weeks. For other conditions, please inquire. The plate is shipped fresh and therefore shipping restrictions apply to this product so please inquire to check availability in your region.
