Axol ARE Hepatocyte Genotoxicity Assay Medium has been optimized for use in micronucleus genotoxicity assays when used together with our validated Assay-Ready Expanded (ARE) Hepatocytes (ax3703). The medium promotes cell division of sub-confluent human hepatocytes, allowing the effect of potential genotoxic compounds to be observed. The medium is serum-free, does not contain phenol red and is ideal for endpoint assays.
