Description

Recombinant human TRAIL-R1 (DR4)/Fc Chimera protein is produced in HEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of human TRAIL-R1 (aa 1 -238) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1. A calculated molecular mass of fusion protein is 43 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant protein migrates approximately as a 46 kDa protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Recombinant human TRAIL-R1 (DR4)/Fc Chimera - 1 vial (0.05 mg).Reconstitute vial content with 50 μl sterile deionized water. For long term storage or for preparation of more diluted working stock solution, a carrier protein (e.g. 1% serum albumin) should be added to the vial.

Preparation

The protein was purified from cell culture supernatant by protein-A affinity chromatography and lyophilized.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS).

Storage and handling

Store lyophilized product in freezer (-20 °C to -80 °C). The expiration date of unopened product vial is indicated on the vial label. After reconstitution prepare suitable aliquots. Reconstituted product is stable for at least 6 months when stored in freezer (-20 °C to -80 °C). Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Western Blotting of TRAIL-R1 (DR4) / Fc recombinant protein. Reducing conditions.Lane 1 to 5: Immunostaining with TRAIL-R1 (DR4) specific antibody DR-4-02 (Cat. No. 10-403-C100; dilution 2 μg/ml ). Detection with Goat anti-mouse / HRP secondary antibody. Amount of TRAIL-R1 (DR4)/ Fc recombinant protein loaded on each lane: (1) 370 ng, (2) 150 ng, (3) 75 ng, (4) 37 ng, (5) 15 ng.
