Description

Recombinant human DR6 (TNFRSF21)/Fc Chimera is produced in HEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of human DR6 (aa 1 - 212) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1. A calculated molecular mass of fussion protein is 40 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant protein migrates as a 50 kDa protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Recombinant human DR6 (TNFRSF21)/Fc Chimera - 1 vial (0.05 mg).Reconstitute vial content with 50 μl sterile deionized water. For long term storage or for preparation of more diluted working stock solution, a carrier protein (e.g. 1% serum albumin) should be added to the vial.

Preparation

The protein was purified from cell culture supernatant by protein-A affinity chromatography and lyophilized.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.22 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS).

Storage and handling

Store lyophilized product in freezer (-20 °C to -80 °C). The expiration date of unopened product vial is indicated on the vial label. After reconstitution prepare suitable aliquots. Reconstituted product is stable for at least 6 months when stored in freezer (-20 °C to -80 °C). Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Western blotting of DR6 / Fc recombinant protein. Reducing conditions.Lane 1 to 4: immunostaining with rabbit polyclonal antibody specific to DR6 (EC). Detection with Goat anti-rabbit / HRP secondary antibody. Amount of DR6 / Fc recombinant protein loaded on each lane: (1) 150 ng, (2) 75 ng, (3) 30 ng, (4) 15 ng per lane.

SDS-PAGE Electrophoresis of DR6 / Fc recombinant protein (12% separating gel, 6% stacking gel; reducing conditions).Lane 1 to 5: DR6 / Fc recombinant protein (2000 ng, 1000 ng, 500 ng, 200 ng, 100 ng per lane). Staining with Coomassie Blue.
