The Innova Biosciences Lightning-Link® APC/Cy5.5 antibody labeling kit enables the direct conjugation of antibodies, proteins and peptides, or any other biomolecule with an available amine group, to APC/Cy5.5 with only 30 seconds hands-on time and with 100% recovery of materials. The technology is fully scalable from 10ug to 1g or more and stringently QC tested for consistent high quality and excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility.
APC/Cy5.5 is a tandem conjugate. The APC is excited at 652nm and functions as an energy donor for the Cy5.5. Energy is transferred from the APC to the Cy5.5 via FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer). The Cy5.5 emits then the energy received from the APC in the form of long wavelength light at 700nm.

Flow Cytometry data – APC/Cy5.5
Mouse anti-human CD3 was conjugated with APC/Cy5.5 using an Innova Biosciences Lightning-Link® kit. The conjugated antibody was then used to stain human peripheral blood lymphocytes, followed by analysis with flow cytometry. (Blue line – negative control; red line – positive staining)
