Innova Biosciences/Protein A – HRP/20001000/1mg

Innova Biosciences’ Protein A – Horseradish Peroxidase conjugates are manufactured using our Lightning-Link® antibody labeling technology, therefore providing extremely high quality, stable conjugates. For added flexibility we provide the conjugates in two different pack sizes of 100ug and 1mg. Furthermore the conjugates are freeze-dried so shipping at ambient temperature is not a problem.

Additional information

Protein A has a high affinity for the Fc regions of IgG molecules from a variety of species. Immobilization of protein A creates an affinity resin that can be used to isolate IgG fractions from crude serum, ascites fluid or hybridoma supernatants. Aliquots of Protein A resin may also be used to pull down antibody:antigen complexes in immunoprecipitation experiments. Protein A resin is prepared by coupling highly purified protein A to agarose beads.

Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is a metalloenzyme which has many different isoforms. It utilises hydrogen peroxide to oxidize both organic and inorganic compounds, and in the presence of the appropriate substrate (e.g. TMB, DAB, ABTS) causes a color change that can be measured spectrophotometrically.

Comparative data

Fluorescence intensity of Innova Biosciences’ Protein A – Horseradish Peroxidase conjugate versus competitor

Figure 1. A Protein A – Horseradish Peroxidase conjugate was purchased from a commercial supplier. The conjugate was compared to Protein A – Horseradish Peroxidase from Innova Biosciences in an ELISA. It can be seen that the Innova Biosciences protein A – Horseradish Peroxidase conjugate outperforms the competitor.
