Thisprimaryandsecondaryantibodypairhasbeencarefullychosentogivebestresutls.Anti-AKT1antibodyisdirectedagainsthumanAKT1.Theantibodydetectsbothunphosphorylatedandphosphorylatedformsoftheprotein.Anti-AKT1antibodywaspurifiedfromascitesbyProteinAchromatography.CrossreactivitywithAKT1fromotherspecieshasnotbeendetermined,however,thesequenceoftheimmunogenshows85%identitytomouseand92%identitywithrat,therefore,crossreactivityisexpected.HRPsecondaryantibodywaspreparedfrommonospecificantiserumbyimmunoaffinitychromatographyusingMouseIgGcoupledtoagarosebeadsfollowedbysolidphaseadsorption(s)toremoveanyunwantedreactivities.ThisproductshowsbalancedreactivitytoMouseIgG1,IgG2a,IgG2bandIgG3proteinsandissuitabletoscreenIgGclasshybridomaclones.MinimalcrossreactivityisobservedagainstotherMouseimmunoglobulinclassesorlightchainproteins.Thisantibodypairissufficientforupto5miniblotsat7.5x8cm2(1,800cm2).
