RocklandImmunochemicals’ChemiluminescentWesternBlotKitforAKT2combinesallofthenecessaryreagentswitharapidprovenprotocolandtheextremelyhighsignaldetectionofourluminolchemiluminescentsubstrateforthedetectionofnativeand/orrecombinanthumanAKT2protein.Thekitisdesignedtodetectbothunphosphorylatedandphosphorylatedformsoftheprotein.CrossreactivitywithAKT2fromotherspecieshasnotbeendetermined,however,thesequenceoftheimmunogenshows100%identitytohuman,mouse,andrat,therefore,crossreactivityisexpected.Cross-reactivitywithAKT1andAKT3hasnotbeendetermined.Thiskitcontainssufficientsubstrateforupto5miniblotsat7.5x8cm2(1,800cm2)andisstableforatleast1yearwhenstoredasindicated.
